Psychotherapy Philosophy

I work from an integral view of psychotherapy, a holistic approach that blends contemporary psychology with spiritual wisdom traditions. I hold three basic tenets: 1) the mind, body, emotions, and spirit are inextricably connected; 2) the source of healing lies inside each of us; 3) all of life moves towards creative evolution.

I honor that our painful experiences of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual distress contain insights. When approached with openness and curiosity, our suffering can be transformed and integrated resulting in greater well-being. Our most challenging areas of darkness are potential portals for contacting what is most real within our self. My intention is to hold your suffering with non-judgment and respect, providing you with a safe space to approach your pain.

Awareness, compassion, radical acceptance, embodied wisdom to heal, transform, and become your unique self.

Approaching your distress with awareness and compassion allows you to heal, transform, be and further become your true self. It is my honor to support you in living a life of greater joy, intimacy, and courage so that you may participate in the world from your fullest expression of being.

May you have the courage to listen to the voice of desire that disturbs you when you have settled for something safe, for your soul senses the world that awaits you. ~John O'Donohue
